This lens assembly takes your Schmidt-Cassegrain from its native f/10 focal radio down to f/6.3 (f/7 for 14" models). The result is wider, brighter images. All four lens elements within the reducer are fully multi-coated to maintain image quality.
The Celestron f/6.3 Reducer Corrector is a must-have accessory for astrophotographers. Adding this accessory reduces exposure times by a factor of 3, allowing you to collect more light for brighter, more detailed images in a fraction of the time.
Note: This reducer is compatible with 5", 6", 8", 9.25", 11" and 14" (at f/7) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. It is not compatible with EdgeHD telescopes. Celestron has created specialized EdgeHD focal reducers that are specific to your telescope size.
