The Sky-Watcher HEQ5 Pro mount has been designed for use by novice and experts alike! The heavy-duty mount is equipped with SynScan and is a smaller version of the SkyWatcher EQ6 Pro mount, specifically designed for observers who enjoy the steadiness of the EQ6 Pro mount but find the mount too physically demanding. It has a 30lbs. payload capacity.
Equipped with GoTo Technology
This computerized mount includes a user-friendly menu which allows the observer to automatically slew to 42,900+ celestial objects. The SynScan V5 Hand Controller can also connect to a computer with an RS-232 cable. With the established connection, many commercially available planetarium software programs can be used to control the mount.
