Tele Vue 40mm Plossl Eyepiece

The Tele Vue 40mm 1.25 inch eyepiece has a 43-degree apparent field. Its focal plane is at the barrel edge for a maximum field in its 1.25-inch format. 

Each Tele Vue Plossl eyepiece is made with high-index glass and is fully multi-coated for superb light transmission and image contrast. Regardless of which focal length you choose, be assured that Tele Vue takes as much care with its entry-level Plossl's as they do with eyepieces costing hundreds of dollars more. 

Diffraction limited "on-axis" performance is a given with all Tele Vue Plossl eyepieces.
