Mount your favorite photographic ball head to the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mount with this Ball Head Adapter. The adapter has a 3/8” threaded bolt, and will accept any standard ball head with a similarly sized threaded port.

To use the Ball Head Adapter, attach it to the bottom of your ball head, then screw it onto the mounting plate of the Star Adventurer mount. Make sure the indentation on the ball head adapter and the locking knob on the mounting plate are lined up, and then lock the ball head and its adapter into place.

Please Note: If you plan on using the Dec Bracket with your Star Adventurer system, then a Ball Head Adapter is not required. The Dec Bracket has the ability to accept up to two ball heads without requiring an adapter.
