Apertura 2" Coma Corrector For Newtonian Telescopes

This beautifully anodized Apertura Coma Corrector significantly reduces coma and field curvature that occurs with Newtonian Telescopes. The Apertura Coma Corrector is optimized for Newtonians with an f/4.5 focal ratio, but it can be used with any f/3 to f/6 Newtonian.

The Apertura Coma Corrector can be used for both photographic and visual applications.  It accepts 2" filters and is equipped with a brass compression ring so it will not mar the finish on your eyepieces. This Apertura coma corrector was designed to deliver a magnification factor of 1.1x.

Using the Apertura 2" Coma Corrector is easy. If you would like to use it for visual use, simply use the coma corrector with both the nose piece and extension tube connected. For photographic use, unscrew the extension tube from the optical nose piece, attach the (included) M48 - T2-ring to the optical nose piece and connect your DSLR camera.

Please Note : You must have a T-ring (not included) specific to your camera in order to attach it to the included M48 - T2-ring.
