TeleGizmos Standard Reflective Cover for 6" Refractor Telescopes on Medium EQ Mounts

 This TeleGizmos Cover is sized for 6" refractors with a 1000mm to 1200mm focal length mounted on a medium-sized German Equatorial Mount.  It is for mount and scope combinations where 48" of vertical cover length is required, measured from the end of the telescope's dew shield down to the end of the counterweight shaft when the scope is parked parallel to the polar axis.   

The TGR6 TeleGizmos Cover is made of a multi-layer, polyethylene material with a fully aluminized surface. The material was originally developed for NASA as an insulator in spacecraft with strength equal to a multi-layer tarp. It is very strong, light, tear- and puncture-resistant, has double lap seams for strength, and can be securely fastened to your telescope with a built-in drawstring.

The heat reflective ability of this TeleGizmos Solar Cover is extremely high, greatly reducing scope temperature on telescopes left outside in sunlight. True & effective radiant barrier protection. It is highly water-resistant without the need of spray on sealers. Also stops condensation build-up on scopes left outside at night. The material has extreme temperature tolerance; they stay malleable in temps well below freezing and are unaffected by summer sun and heat.
